It's 1972. Richard Nixon has been re-elected, protests against the Vietnam war continue unabated, the women's movement is gaining in strength, Japanese cars are showing up on American streets, and the Allman Brothers are kings of the airways. In the midst of all this, Hollander College psychology professor Felicity Sparrows finds herself caught up in a police investigation, when the young schizophrenic she has been working with is arrested for the murder of the wife of one of Hollander's Spanish professors. She is sure Ralph didn't do it...but then, who did?
