This collection of poetry was meant to be responses to phrases and conversations that took place during a decade-long series of romantic relationships with the same partner, but at some point, it became something more than that. It became the opportunity to show the difference between a healthy relationship and a toxic one. It became the chance to relive not only some of the worst moments of my life, but also some of the best ones. It also became the chance to show that there is hope even in the most hopeless situation. That sometimes the best moments in our lives arrive unexpectedly.
