Ainsfield's Amateur Dramatics Society is about to lose its theatre, someone has spent all the rent. Is there a traitor amongst the group? Regardless, the group, made up of local misfits, begin the audition process for their new production. The characters range from the flamboyant writer to the arrogant and slightly intoxicated director, but one thing they have in common is the need to save their beloved theatre. Jack, the oldest member of the group comes up with a dastardly plan which involves a kidnap and a ransom note, but is this the way to save their venue? Will they get to perform one last production? There are disagreements, laughs, plot twists and heart-warming moments to keep the audience entertained.
