Behind the free and easy image of Britain in the 'swinging sixties', there still lay a strong foundation of racial prejudice and intolerance. It is this that keeps sweethearts Daniel, an English medical student, and Soraya, a Persion midwife, apart. Thirty-three years later, their lives have moved on, but their hearts remain intertwined. Fate conspires to bring them together through their beloved children.
