Operation Annie, is set in the fictional town of Aidemby, in England around Christmas time. The action unfolds along with the realisation that single mother, Annie Slade?s uncharacteristic slump into depression, is somehow linked to the relentless drip-feed of pessimistic news in the media. (Sound familiar?) Annie?s teenage kids and their posse, have no alternative, but to embark upon the daring quest that is - Operation Annie! Detailed planning, surveillance, camaraderie and above all - nerves of steel - will be required if Annie?s dire situation is to be resolved. Things escalate and become even more serious, (to say the least) - when news of Operation Annie somehow gains the attention of a certain foreign businessman?
