Inspired by a true story, Burgundy Winters tells a tale of addiction, tragedy, love, and self-forgiveness.
The main protagonist, Jace Tanner, is a stereotypical All-American rockstar who jammed hard on stage and partied even harder. The fame of his band, 'Soft Division', was building and building, but so was Jace's drug addiction. A fatal cocaine overdose of a close one revealed the consequences of Jace's choices and filled him with regret, remorse, and self-disgust.
Fresh out of rehab, Jace was eventually convinced to tour Europe by his sister Pearl. But while in Paris, he met a beautiful young woman who would change his perspective on life and guilt. Yasmine Belmont is a tour guide with a troubled past herself, and while Jace saw her as his saviour, she kept her trust under a tight guard. Together, they were a match made in chaos.
They romance their way through Paris, Belgium, Aachen, Cologne, Prague, and various other cities in Europe. But before their relationship has the chance to ignite into a wildfire and burn out of control, the pair faces the impossible; meeting parents, falling in love, seeing ghosts...
