Lantern of the Dead is a contemporary crime novel about amateur sleuth, Tamara Duff, who is persuaded by the Mayor of the French village of Rancon to investigate a series of anonymous emails received by the English expat community. She can have no idea that she will soon be investigating the murder of three local residents, the only link between them the ruthless French Resistance of World War II. As she struggles to find a motive she comes face to face with a killer who has been plotting his revenge for nearly fifty years.
