A glance inside of the tormented mind of a person experiencing extreme trauma in many areas of life and having to begin over. Experiencing the deterioration of the mental state of her husband to protection orders and a divorce, Sowl captures vividly the feelings of pain, loss, joy and heartbreak on the road to recovery after living in an abusive relationship and moving on with herself and her children. There are pitfalls along the way with true friends and those who prove false. Along the road are moments of joy and moments of heartbreak and a very real picture of where God is in all of it.
