It seems like going alone is just human nature ? until there is an urgency, a crisis, a gripping cause. We live in such a time when the needs of our culture and the condition of the church compel us to unite our efforts.

The story of what drew leaders together to eventually form the National Network of Youth Ministriesis a story worth telling. Leaders with differing doctrines, methodologies and personalities found common ground in a way that reflected God?s blessing on their efforts to live by His prayer for unity in John 17. But the desire is not to tell the history of the Network ? but rather to show how the stories of what has been learned can be of value to anyone who wants to multiply their impact through cooperation.
