Poetry. This issue's theme was recommended to us by a few of our Southern Appalachian Writers Cooperative writers watching their friends, neighbors and family members struggle with the decision to remain in Appalachia or to move on. Since then, some of those very same writers have left the region. Coincidentally, other contributors are in the process of moving back. As you will see between these covers, there are no easy answers, and the question itself becomes ever more complex with a changing economic and political climate.
