Orc's Bane. Only one person can wield the sword called Orc's Bane, a sword so mighty that the one who possesses it is destined to rule Innis Torr for 1000 years. Yet the sword will only serve one master, a person it chooses, and Orc's Bane has chosen Karl. Armed with the sword of prophecy, Karl must now convince the rest of the warring kingdoms and cities that he is the chosen one. But it is no easy task as he struggles to overcome jealous kings and princes, sorcery, and magical beasts. Then, just as it seems he might accomplish his destiny, he is yanked back into real life with a real-world mission, leaving behind a kingdom not yet settled.
