It begins with the editor's preface of how Carolyn met Phil, followed by an introduction in which Mr. Ossifer gives his thoughts on being superior. The main body of the book consists of 165 queries and conjectures drawn from the pub writings. An appendix with the title: "A Very Short Course in Philosophy" was Phil's way of summarizing the work of some of the superior people he admires.
