In spite of trying to do the right thing, and he really did try to do the right thing, eleven-year-old Jase Freeman seems to sink deeper into trouble each day.

He didn't mean to listen in on conversations he had no business hearing. He intended to show respect for his teachers and never question his mom ... but, what's a guy to do when he knows stuff he shouldn't know, his best friend is acting like a jerk, and doing the right thing seems way too difficult?

Exactly what does it mean to have his friend's back? How can he possibly be respectful when his anger spins out of control? And why is it so important to "remember who you are and whose you are"?
