Men live for the challenge of the climb, to revel in the view from the top, to reap the rewards, and bragging rights of a greater conquest. An unspoken quest burning deep within a man is to find the hill that may take his life. Men long for a hill to die on-a signature mountain if you will. Men will search their entire lives for a mountain that defines them. At the worst it will kill them, at best it will be the legacy through which others remember them.

For the courageous few it's the summit or nothing, while the vast majority settle in the mundane valley of anonymity. The summit looms before our eyes. Are we open to its challenge? The mountain defining us is closer than you think. Abraham Lincoln once said, "Impossibilities vanish when a man

and his God confront the mountain."
