THE LAST DRAGON is the story of how one young woman discovers her real-life superpowers.

Twenty-two-year-old Philadelphian Akila is in search of inspiration for her life, following her college graduation. While she's adept at Kung Fu, her skills especially come in handy when she is mysteriously approached by someone sent from the Council of Truth, a secret society dating back to Ancient Egypt. She is told that she is a descendant of Ma'at and that it is her duty to defeat the evil Safiya who is contaminating the entire city with a shroud of toxic smog. Akila makes it her mission to protect her city and channel all her energy to become a Kung Fu warrior, otherwise known as The Last Dragon.

The Last Dragon is a novel rooted in self-discovery, revenge, and redemption. It's the result of dreams becoming a reality, and how the mind-body connection can turn any everyday human into a superhero with the right kind of mindset and training, along with an innate birthright.
