The Medallion

Set on England's channel coast during the middle 1800s, The Medallion is the story of a girl born of unenviable circumstances. She is taken in by a scar-faced woman, who is known for her unearthly powers, and is raised as a domestic. Knowing royal blood flows through the girl's veins, the woman is dedicated to the care and protection of her charge. Through the untimely illness of the Lord of Covington Court, the girl is at last recognized as having great potential and promoted accordingly. Leaving the lowly status of housemaid, she rises to become ward of Lord Harry Martingale. From out of the distant past, comes a man of insensate evil to interrupt her tranquil life. Will this man - whose sole desire is trampling her beneath his feet - lay claim to Gravelstone Abbey and Covington Court as well?
