no, no, no, it's really okay is a reassurance mantra capturing the tenuous atmosphere of a rapidly changing world as we tread, with trepidation, into a new global consciousness, while trying to hold onto our sanity, find and maintain human connection, & pay our damn rent. no, no, no, it's really okay encapsulates the anxieties which come with the paradigm shift. it is the chant of the zeitgeist. here is my voice, but a small speck born in boston, massachusetts, landed in brooklyn, and shipping out to i-don't-know-where-yet. it will be okay (or not) even if we are faced with great wealth disparity, the war on black america, climate change, war on women's reproductive rights, refugee crises, all the -ISMS, and a potential Trump as president. hug it out, execute compassion, & ban together as humans on this gasping planet floating, green and blue, in our small solar system. included in this book: poetry, prose, facebook posts, aphorisms/truisms, & plain old words ranging from 2013-now. this is vol. 1. also included are visuals from talented pals, & a few of my own photos.
