AN ANDRIETTA SLOAN ADVENTURE Andy Sloan has been sent by Dr. Porter Gaven to acquire publishing rights to diaries written aboard the Mayflower by pilgrim John Alden. When Andy visits George Alden, owner, she sees him dead and his cabin tossed. Andy finds the diaries under the floor, grabs the bag containing them, and loads them into her vehicle, fleeing for her life.
