Henry Lawson is claimed by many to be Australia's greatest writer. He was a contemporary of A. B. (Banjo) Patterson who is equally well known. He was born in 1876 and died in 1922. This collection of his works, "While The Billy Boils", was first published in 1896, and is considered Lawson's most successful collection of prose.
