David Presley is a man desperate to find work. When he's called to an interview at the Sinnquist Company, he feels his prayers have been answered.

Albert Trent has been waiting for an opportunity at Sinnquist for years. He'll do whatever it takes to get the job.

When their interviews take a turn for the worst, David and Albert realize they're in deep trouble and must work together to escape the office.

The only person standing in their way is a little girl named Candy.

"The idea behind Dark Tales has been with me for over 21 years," says Peter Legend. "It's a childhood dream that I'm now ready to share with the world. Each One-Shot story will add something more to the Strange Wyrld, whether its locations, characters or events. Dark Tales is a vehicle to complement and expand the Strange Wyrld beyond the original trilogy, that began with The Elemental."
