The Munich Texts and Studies on German Medieval Literature (MTU), published by Max Niemeyer from Volume 102 onwards, provide access to texts, materials and genre which have hitherto not been available or easily accessible. Besides courtly poetry and heroic epics and song poetry from the High and Late Middle Ages, the series principally presents sacred and profane prose writings, from theological tracts via mysticism to plays and non-fiction works from everyday life in the Middle Ages.
