Many capabilities or traits in humans play a significant role in shaping their lives. They may be conative, cognitive, and affective. The emotional ability is considered to be at the top of all others ensuring the success in our life. The initial stage of life is very important for the overall development these abilities. A child spends its much time in school where EI is required to cope up with the ambience it has. Children have to encounter with problems which go beyond their academic intelligence capabilities and cover a wide range of issues such as stress, loneliness, loss of the peer support, relationship break-ups, and other difficulties. The skills to identify, manage, and repair emotions, the basis of EI, would therefore seem to be major contributors to success and avoiding dropping out. This study may be considered a comprehensive statistical analysis of the two tools called JTEIS and KPEIS, as it was targeted to critically examine the psychometric properties of the tools under investigation.
