Mihai Eminescu's Contribution to the Philosophy of Law
Stefan Munteanu
The work aims to demonstrate, against all, still persisting prejudices, that Mihai Eminescu was not only a poetry genius, but also a great thinker, an encyclopaedic spirit, endowed with a special philosophical vocation. The work also intends to prove the fact that this philosophical vocation proved to be fertile not only in the field of the ontology, gnosiology and aesthetics, but also in the field of the politics, moral and law philosophy. It is true that the brilliant poet-thinker did not elaborated systemic treaties revealing an aggregate conception, as some epigones believe. At the same time his pieces of meditations, remained in manuscripts, or gathered in his published works, value, in most cases, more than all the treaties of some trained researchers, who proved to lack the capacity to scrutinize in depths the reality.
