Children are the backbone of a nation. Slum dwelling children in Bangladesh are neglected in any development initiative . This paper highlights the child rights of the slum dwelling children in the light of their living pattern, education, health, sanitation,recreation,basic needs and reason behind deprivation. Case study and qualitative methods use this paper. According to the child rights declaration 1988 state should be ensure rights of the children. Public initiative also support this sector. This study find out that slum dwelling children are totally out of national level development initiative in some specific indicators.
