Implications for Quality Education in Botswana: Factorial Analysis of Pupils' Perceptions of Parental Involvement
Norman E. Tshekiso
The quality of education has a declining trend in spite of the fact that the government has initiated drastic measures such as parental involvement in schools as one of the means of uplifting the quality of education in Botswana. Despite this, parental involvement appears to be discouragingly low and this has impacted negatively on the quality of education in Botswana. The pupils? perceptions of parental involvement in their schools as a sign of quality education in junior secondary schools in Botswana were examined.
