Salmonella is one of the major pathogen that cause human infections and food poisoning. Salmonella is affecting human health either drinking contaminated water or eating improperly cooked contaminated meat. This research is mainly focused on isolation of Salmonella from water used to clean carcasses in retail goat meat shop of two different districts of Nepal. This is based on the assumption that contaminated water used in meat shop will contaminate meat and can cause severe human hazards when People eat such meat. Thus, this book provides information regarding prevalence of Salmonella in water used in goat meat shop which will reflect the chances of contamination of meat cleaned by such type of water which can cause severe human infections and poisoning.
