There many unique physical and cultural phenomena existing in Sylhet region such as Jafllong, Madhabkundo, Lawachara Ecopark, Tamabil, Porjoton motel, tea garden etc. Sylhet is also known as the land of famous Muslim Saint Hazrat Shah Jalal (R) and the shrine of Hazrat Shah Paran (R) also suited. Colorful Garo, Khasia and Monipuri tribes live in Sylhet. Sylhet is well known for its wide verity of exquisite handicrafts of cane and bamboo. Sylhet is linked with Dhaka by rail, road and air. Sylhet is well known for its wide variety of exquisite handicrafts. Well known Sylhet cane products such as chair, table, tea trays, flower vases, bags and the exquisitely designed fine Sital Pati (a kind of mattress of natural cooling effect) are colorful souvenirs.
