Fertilizers NP (500 g N + 300 g P2O5 plant-1), zinc sulphate spray (0.5%) increased growth parameters (gain in plant height, plant spread, stem girth and leaf area), flowering- yield attributes (flowering & fruiting duration, mean fruit weight, fruit volume, pulp weight, pulp: stone ratio and shape index), yield, quality components (acidity, sugars, TSS and ascorbic acid), nutrient content and uptake of N, P and Zn. To get maximum yield and B: C ratio (3.30: 1) the farmers of semi arid conditions should apply 500 g N + 300 g P2O5 in addition to uniform basal dose of 30 kg Farm Yard Manure and 150 g K2O along with 0.5 per cent foliar spray of zinc sulphate in September (flower bud differentiation stage) and in November (fruit setting stage) in ber crop.
