In this book an attempt has been to circuit modeling and simulation of dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) using cascaded five level inverter. However, under input disturbances noise is present in the response characteristics. Multilevel cascade inverter with separate dc sources has been proposed for sensitive load. Simulation results have shown that with control strategy that operate the switches at fundamental frequency. These inverters have low total harmonic distortion (THD) and high efficiency. The main advantages of using multilevel inverters for sensitive load is given as follows: It is suitable for high-voltage and high ?current applications It has higher efficiency because the devices can be switched at a low frequency. NO EMI problem exists. No charge unbalance problem results when the converters are in either charge mode (rectification) or drive mode (inversion). This book is to improve the output voltage response in dynamics and steady state operation inverter. In this work leads to modeling and simulation of dynamic voltage restorer using cascade five level inverter to improve the voltage quality due to disturbances in supply system and to reduced hamonics.
