Nowadays human beings are extremely cruel selfish and inhuman in their behavior of other human beings. As a result peace becomes rare in society. But human nature is pure. Indifference to religious teachings and lack of morality work as prime reasons behind this situation. Religion provides lessons on pacifism, nonviolence, tolerance, moderation and holism to its followers. The heart of all religions is ?love one another?. Religion encourages virtues such as self-restraint, patience, forgiveness and compassion. Similarly Religion discourages bad conducts and evil deeds. By practicing the moral teachings of religion, people can able to promote their social behavior and to ensure a peaceful environment. As a religion, Islam urges its followers to practice appropriate and tasteful social behavior at all times to maintain a peaceful environment, a peaceful society even a peaceful world.
