conventional view to Management is like ?a garment that fits so closely that we may fail to notice its existence?. It has become an integral part of our identity and its removal is akin to being ?skinned alive?. Indeed, challenging traditional American values and ideals like individualism and profit-maximization may result in being condemned and judges as perverse, irresponsible and downright subversive. Perhaps the time has come to follow the lead of the cigarette industry and begin to advertise warnings on management textbooks that the lifestyle promoted by the textbooks may causes damages such as poorer interpersonal relationships and increase in mental disorders, and social injustice.
