Academic Freedom for faculty members across the world is considered primary path toward advancing intellectual inquiry and advancing education. The American Association of University professors (AAUP) in the USA ought to be commended and highly respected in taking the lead in promoting and defending this valuable aspect of education (Academic Freedom). As an Individual who was born and raised in a third world country, I am shocked to find out that special Interest groups and lobbies can easily use their economic and political influence to stop or fire a professor from a university in the USA, the world champion in democracy. It is the hope that the American people and people in other countries will prevail in limiting or preventing special Interest groups and lobbies from interfering in free inquiry of knowledge. (Academic Freedom).
