Maya believes in magic, but she's not very good at it. She's been having some incredible dreams, about a man. One who comes to her when she sleeps. His name is Toran and he is king of the Highlands. In her dreams she sees his death, the end of magic, and the end of their planet. Somehow she must find her magic and save them all before its too late. Toran doesn't believe in magic at all. But he must learn to believe in it, and find his own in order to help save his world. The pair unite in their efforts to save Zopika. Enemies abound and attempt to stop them. But fate carries them along towards a destiny preordained, yet neither of them know it. Together they do battle with evil of Red Magic, then face and master Violet Magic. Should their alliance waver, then Zopika, their home world, will perish. Their love for one another is tested many times. Their faith even more. A prophecy hints of one great battle. It turns out there are two, the first a prelude to the second. The pair are separated by death. Only the Invocation of Life can reunited them, an ancient magic, dim in the memory of but a few. Both learn that dreams can guide, magic is real and love is greater than all.
