The influence of priming treatments on speed of germination of woolly pod vetch seeds was more manifested on seeds stored for one year. Outstanding speed of germination results were achieved when one year old seeds of woolly pod vetch were primed in distilled water, and 0.155 or 0.310 M solutions of KNO3. Similarly, a substantial influence of priming treatments on the speed of germination of common vetch seeds was evident when seeds stored for one or two years were primed with distilled water
