Sinhala students prefer to attend Sinhala School whilst Tamil and Muslim students prefer their own ethnic school- Tamil and Muslim school. The study explores the division among Sri Lankan starts from the school level or childhood. The study recommends integrating school system in order to achieve durable peace in Sri Lanka. Likewise, integrative approach is the best methods of including the notion of peace in the school curriculum of Sri Lanka.
