Rective dyeing needs huge amount of salt and alkali increasing dissolved solids in water and thus increasing water pollution.in this work attempt has been done to eliminate salt in reactive dyeing.the atrials are also.taken for fixation without alkali and excellent results were obtained with out most ninety percent exhaustion.this work has great potential of replacing salt and alkali by only one pretreatment I e cationsation.thus giving eco-friendly reactive dyeing with excellent all around fastness properties.
