With the growth of football comes the complexity of the game and the laws surrounding its operation. Also, investments, money and risks have increased in the game; so have crimes and breach of regulations among individuals and stakeholders increased too. This work gives an overview of the various crimes in the world of football, with the stakeholders involved, and the punishments meted out on the accused in accordance with the criminal law and jurisdiction of the various states, federation or confederation. It also gives a comparative analysis of the football regulations governing the smooth operation and the signing of players, breach of contracts and civil wrongs. The book found that a good number of criminal activities exist in the sport called football, especially in the Nigerian Professional League. Also, since the inception of the Bosman Ruling, much have been argued about the fate of clubs in the hands of the players and their agents, especially as it pertains to breach of contract regulations and tortuous wrongs.
