Polish cooperative law until 1939

Cooperative societies are an integral and very important economic and social element of many countries. The beginnings of the cooperative movement can be traced back to Utopian socialism, which took shape in the 19th century, and especially during the industrial revolution. Cooperatists have always had the rightful goal of eliminating the exploitation of the classes that had over the poor working and peasant classes. This movement grew on the pillars of the deep faith and hope of the working masses that by joining forces they were able to overcome many adversities. The cooperative legislation thus formed is also a law created, not only to improve the economic existence of the state, but above all to improve the quality of life of society. Looking at cooperatives through the prism of the struggle of the oppressed classes for a better existence, the will to present its history to a wider audience seems justified. This dissertation is the author's thesis.
