Lequerica considered that this did not happen by chance and attributed it to the battle that the Executive had fully planned to avoid the Congress being able to approve aid to the Regime following the procedure of the previous year. In the bill as it was approved at the beginning of September, the economic support to Spain was no longer perceptive, as was the aid to the member countries of the Alliance and as was the 62.5 million of the credit of 1950.
