Current Trends in Energy Policy of the Countries

This paper is the result of research undertaken. It examines the history of nuclear power and the reasons for the political decision to potentially phase out nuclear power in Europe. In addition, the role of energy technology in the development of human civilisation, the amount of electricity generated by nuclear power plants, and their share in the EU's total generation were examined. The history of nuclear power development, the energy mix, and the transnational energy flows of countries such as: Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Spain.
