Mentoring is a social phenomenon aimed at improving the quality of individual training of young professionals undergoing the stage of adaptation. It is the most effective form of on-the-job training, transfer of accumulated experience and knowledge by experienced teachers, used to develop professional skills and achieve the required level of competence. In order to train mentors a group is formed to teach the basics of methods of mentoring, psychology, as well as to improve professional knowledge according to the program. The program consists of 72 classroom hours, including active forms of work in the form of business, role-playing games. The source of innovation is a creative search by mentors for forms and methods of work individually with each mentee. The training program for mentors includes: - questionnaire and testing at the beginning and at the end of the training (written);- self-diagnosis of future mentors;- independent preparation of tasks and plans for skills implementation;- sessions in accordance with the program. In the process of training, the clarification of concepts, skills refinement, analysis and reflection on own professional experience is achieved
