The application of the teaching-learning process from the andragogical point of view corresponds to a paradigm in which the process is transformed into an interaction of equals, where the facilitator guides the student and facilitates the information that the adult will use to enrich his experience. The objective of this research work is to determine from the student's perspective, how significant is the knowledge in reference to the characteristics of their learning when andragogical principles are applied by the teacher during the teaching-learning process. The study showed that, despite the fact that the students conduct themselves independently, they have an indicator below the acceptable level in terms of knowledge about Andragogy as a whole, but they have a high level in reference to attitude and willingness to develop andragogical learning despite the fact that the teachers have not given them the necessary motivation to be able to carry out learning on their own.
