Copenhagen, Now - Wandering into a church belonging to a vanishing branch of Christianity, theology student and introvert Christian Kardahl meets devout and mysterious Emma for the first time. Two days later, and by sheer coincidence, Christian comes across a letter by Søren Kierkegaard, delivering a message that could either heal or destroy the Christian Faith. He and Emma are consequently drawn into an involuntary quest that takes them all the way to the very birthplace of the apostles.
