Through her lens, Evelina Carborn captures these in-between states with striking intimacy. At dance classes, birthday parties, and school discos, emotions unfold in subtle gestures and searching eyes. The images tell a story of curiosity, where the last traces of childhood meet the first stirrings of teenage independence. With a sharp yet sensitive gaze, the photographer creates a visual narrative that is both deeply personal and universally resonant. Evelina Carborn is a freelance photographer based in Stockholm. In 2015, she received the TT Photo Scholarship for young Nordic photographers for her project Tweenies.
