This book is a fulfillment of a dream and an honor to a grandmother whom with genuine affection used baking as the main ingredient to make childhood summers turn into endless days of delight. We will follow Lena Göransson’s journey from childhood summers in Tovehult, to her life as fashion model and back to Tovehult against all odds, as she moved her family out to the countryside in Småland and opened up Tofvehults Kafé. Tofvehult – Dreams of a café is also a cookbook with easy to make recipes of moist breads and irresistible desserts. Lena and Grandma Britta created most of the recipes following the seasons and using what was at hand in the garden and in the little kitchen in Tofvehult. Bake with delight!
