New Arabian Nights by Robert Louis Stevenson, first printed in 1882, is a collection of short stories. These stories are previously published in magazines between 1877 and 1880. This book is divided into two volumes, the first volume contains two story cycles ('The Suicide Club' and 'The Rajah's Diamond') and four stories and the second volume contains a collection of four stories. The Suicide Club cycle includes the 'Story of the Young Man with the Cream Tarts', 'Story of the Physician and the Saratoga Trunk' and 'The Adventure of the Hansom Cabs'. These stories are related and affiliated by the character of Prince Florizel of Bohemia. In 'The Rajah's Diamond' a cycle that comprises the 'Story of the Bandbox', the 'Story of the Young Man in Holy Orders', the 'Story of the House with the Green Blinds' and 'The Adventure of Prince Florizel and a Detective'. The tale concerns a diamond that passes from one hand to another. In 'The Pavilion on the Links' the story is of the two misanthropes who meet by chance in a hidden pavilion and the things have changed now. This story told in nine chapters. 'A Lodging for the Night', 'The Sair De Maletroits Door' and 'Providence and the Guitar' all are part of the Volume 2.
