Annie Boyd's life has consisted of being a full time nurse while caring for her sick son. Her life has changed with the addition of a rowdy group of friends and their famous husbands. When one of those famous friends gets injured and she bends some rules, the life that she knows begins to crumble around her. Terrance O'Sullivan has been self-destructive most of his life. When Annie and her son drop into his life he knows he wants to be better. While working on his recovery, he attempts to break down the many obstacles Annie has around her heart.
