Pomeranian Complete owner's manual on care, costs, grooming, feeding, training and health of PomeranianPoms are intelligent and feisty. They require patient, gentle, reward-based training. They are hard to house-train, but once they "get-it" they never forget. Unless you have a fenced yard, you will need to train them to use a litter box for their "business." Most are easily crate-trained. They will regard their crate as a "safe place," retreating to it when they need a break. Most Poms are very vocal and they are hard to train out of it. If you don't like shrill barking, you should consider another breed. They also require maintenance. They need brushing, at least weekly, if not daily. This is easy, if started when they are pups and done consistently. Their nails need trimming every month. Not everything about them is negative. They are great companions, but I would not recommend them for childrenGet this book for a comprehensive guide on training, feeding, exercise, general behavior and much more... GET YOUR COPY TODAY
