After a number of years and hard labor, Medical examiner Dr. September Robinson leads a life of all work and no play finding herself asking the same questions everyone else keeps asking, "Why don't I have a man?" But back in her home town in Fruitville, Florida a murder has been committed in a similar fashion as in Baton Rouge, leaving her second guessing their connection. While on a much needed vacation she meets a young man by the name of "Don Isreal" who she later finds is not the person he really says he is.
