The doorbell rings confirming what I knew but did not mentally want to accept. The officer hands me the divorce papers and proceeds to walk away. Reality begins to set in, my marriage after 9 years is over. Battling anorexia, bulimia since 2013, the divorce nearly shattered every fiber of who God created me to be. Yet, a born-again believer of God but bruised on the inside. The pain throbbed from the inside. This is when God set me on the path to restoration. No matter what you are facing you must believe, and I did not say FEEL but BELIEVE that God loves and thinks highly of you. We don't always make the best decisions and God has a way of correcting you and me. Regardless of whatever has happened, you must change how you see yourself and move forward. For many years I was insecure. I lacked confidence until one day I allowed the Word of God to minister and speak to my heart. Most of the time it not about what people say but how we see ourselves.
